Hi,

Hab ne eMail von Cinemaware bekommen. Ehrlich gesagt glaube ich nicht, dass der Laden wieder hochkommt. Die hatten das ja gegen 2002/2003 oder so schonmal versucht, wollten viele Cinemawareklassiker wieder für den PC rausbringen. Leider ist nichts draus geworden, insbesondere auf Lords of the Rising Sun hatte ich mich sehr gefreut.

Naja, mal abwarten.

Klingt jetzt erstmal so, als würden hauptsächlich erst einmal die alten Titel für Smartphones beziehungsweise iPhone und iPad wiederveröffentlicht. Und die browserbasierten Neuentwicklungen hören sich nach simplen Flash-Spielchen an ("Inspiriert von Actionsequenzen unserer klassischen Werke").

Hört sich ehrlich gesagt eher so an, als wollen die mit den alten Sachen schnell und unkompliziert, also ohne große Aufbereitung, noch einmal Geld machen. Wenn man also die alten Titel bereits besitzt, wird da wohl kaum Spielwert von kommen.

Facebook, "iDefender of the Crown", "iWings" wird wohl folgen, und ähnliche iPeinlichkeiten.... die Jungs gehen wirklich den Bach runter, wenn sie sich auf dieses Niveau herablassen.
War neben den Bitmap Brothers meine absolute Lieblingssoftwareschmiede auf dem Amiga.

In der Tat war Cinemaware auch eine meiner Lieblingssoftwarehäuser zu Amigazeiten. Beim letzten Aufbäumen wollten die auch mit dem alten Krempl Geld machen, was ja grundsätzlich nicht verwerflich ist. Ganz im Gegenteil, wie gesagt, eine PC-Umsetzung von Lords of the Rising Sun oder eine ordentliche Aufmöbelung von It came from the Desert 1+2, das wär halt echt der Hammer. Aber der i-Scheiß, das ist Mist. Vor allem der 35481253 Aufguss von Defender of the Crown.

Ich frage mich, warum die immer bevorzugt Defender Of The Crown und The Three Stooges neu rausbringen. Mir haben beide Spiele überhaupt nicht gefallen. It came from the Desert hingegen in einer Neuauflage wäre richtig genial. Lords of the Rising Sun kenne ich nicht, aber Bilder davon sehen auch nach einem wesentlich spaßigerem Spiel als die beiden erstgenannten Cinemaware-Vertreter aus.

ich frag mich, wie man sowas auf nen iphone spielen soll...?
