Hey guys,
ich habe ein problem mit Die Total Verruckte Rally.
Ich habe Virtual PC+Win3.11und habe spiel installiert.
Ich kann nicht starten, es sagt das die CD nicht eingelegt ist, und ich habe nur Retry und Cancel.
CD ist aber mounted in VPC...
Auch falls ich auf HDD kopiere und dann paths aendere in rally.ini kommt gleiche fehler.
Bitte kann jemand helfen

try using DOSBox. it supports now the win 3.11 installation.
the virtualpc low level cdrom implementation is very bad.

Und wie installiere ich das? Win 3.11 Installationspack besorgen und dann einfach in einen Ordner installieren/entpacken , Dos Box starten und dann win.exe (oder so ähnlich) ausführen?
Und welche Version ist das die das unterstützt? Die 0.65 er ?
Ganz normal wie beim echten DOS. zb mit Disketten die man in der konfigurationsdatei mit mount a a:\\ -floppy parameter einträgt. schau in der readme datei für genaue parameter. hier hab ichs nur schnell per kopf hingeschrieben. oder halt per winimage oder so wenn kein floppy etc. zur verfügung steht, aber da kenn ich mich nicht aus.
das sollte eigentlich schon reichen.
immer die neuste dosbox version.

I installed Win3.11 on it and DTVR.
Unfortunately, I get the same error message.
Apparently the problem is I don't have the original CD anymore. I copied the files from the CD to the hard drive a long time ago and now I burned them to a CD.
DTVR installs fine but complains I don't have the CD in the drive.
I don't think such an old game has algorithms to do enchanced CD checks...
I tried downloading it from Terror's FTP, but when I connect it hangs after the "USER old" command... PASV is disabled..
Has anyone got an idea?

Yes, I have. There are too many users. Use flashfxp so you will see it if it was the problem!
