Ich hab's schon gestern gekauft. Keine Ahnung, wie gut es ist - ich bin erst am Anfang. Aber der wilden Kombination aus Lucas Arts-Stil und Lovecraft konnte ich nicht widerstehen. Big Grin

edit: Das Spiel ist DRM-frei, heisst: Man kann's bei Steam herunterladen und Steam in die Tonne klopfen, wenn man will. Falls das für jemanden (ausser mich) wichtig ist. Wink

Ich finde, das es optisch nicht sehr schön gepixelt wurde. sieht eher wie ein kostenloses Fanproject aus, was man auch beim Adventure Game Studio hätte anbieten können.

Vielleicht reißt die Story es ja raus?

Ja, die Pixelkunst ist jetzt nicht der Oberhammer, das stimmt. Aber trotzdem merkt man, dass alles mit viel Hingabe erstellt wurde. Bisher gefällt's mir (bin gerade erst in Innsmouth angekommen), wenn auch der Humor manchmal etwas sehr eigenartig ist und etwas schwierig mit dem Thema vereinbar.

edit: es ist natürlich, wie viele solcher Kleinproduktionen einzelner Entwickler, tatsächlich mit dem AGS erstellt.

Ist ja bei Blackwell und Co auch so... find ich aber net schlimm, sagt ja nichts über die Qualität des Spiels aus.

Das stimmt, Gemini Rue, Shardlight, Downfall, Primordia, Kathy Rain etc. Es gibt inzwischen eine recht stattliche Anzahl sehr hochwertiger AGS-Spiele, die ihren Preis voll und ganz wert sind. Smile

Gibts das nur über Steam? Wie ist der Eindruck nach dem zweiten, dritten spielen? Ich find Lovecraft suuuper, ist nur die Frage ob sich extra dafür n Steam Account lohnt.

Sie enthält die Originalgeschichte "The Shadow Over Innsmouth" von H. P. Lovecraft als A5-Büchlein, eine mysteriöse orangene 3,5"-Diskette, das Spiel auf DVD in einer eingeschweißten Amaray-Hülle mit tollem Cover, und ein Wendeposter. Smile

(Keine Ahnung warum das Abload-Thumbnail hier invertierte Farben hat.^^)

Kostet 24,90 € + 16,90 € Versand aus Italien = 41,80 €.

Ist aber auch limitiert auf 100 Stück weltweit! Derzeit sind noch 44 Exemplare auf Lager.
