Was heisst eigentlich dieses so oft, und, wie ich glaube, bewusst diskreditierend verwendete Unwort "Datenpansche"?

Dass nicht alle Dateien vorhanden sind.

Falsch.

"Datenpansche" ist auch, wenn man eine komplette CD (inkl. ALLER Dateien) nur als kopierten Ordner vorliegen hat. Mit der Vollständigkeit der Daten hat das nichts zu tun. Sicher: Vorinstallierte Ordner sind ebenfalls als "Datenpansche" zu bezeichnen, aber "dass nicht alle Dateien vorhanden sind" ist eine falsche Definition für "Datenpansche". (Es gibt sogar Leute, die Neros NRG-Images als Datenpansche bezeichnen, was ich allerdings übertrieben finde.)

Wenn's übrigens noch ein etwas gemütlicherer, aber nicht weniger gewaltiger Mindfuck sein darf, will ich Path of the Dragon auch noch anempfehlen, gibt's gerade auch geradezu frivol vergünstigt.

Sei mir nicht böse, aber... ich finde die Render-Grafik davon ziiiiemlich hässlich. Ich möchte ja jetzt nicht allzu oberflächlich wirken, aber so manches Mal schreckt mich ein solches Erscheinungsbild ab oder reisst mich heraus aus dem Spielegenuss. Aber ich kann's mir gerne doch mal anschauen. Vielleicht haut es mich ja tatsächlich um – auch wenn ich in Geschichte eine absolute Null bin und daher vermutlich die historischen Parallelen nichtmal im Geringsten bemerke...

Ich fand das Teil so gut, dass ich sogar in meinem schwachbrüstigen Englisch ein Review bei GOG hinterlassen habe.

The two first parts of the trilogy try to adapt the Bram Stoker-Dracula. They are entertaining, creepy and with some nice ideas. But in my opinion, Dracula 3 is one of the best adventures ever made.There are no connections to the two first parts. I'll explain why I think it's alone worth the price: Dracula - Path of the Dragon features a very interesting, gripping and intelligent story, that merges real history with myth in a very elaborate way. The Dracula we have here is not a cliché, it's Vlad Tepes, the Impaler, one of the most ambivalent and cruel characters of slavic history and the prototype and inspiration for Bram Stoker. In the role of a jesuit priest, we are sent to investigate a little village in the carpatian mountains right after WW1. The land is devastated, everything is under the pressure of the post-war years - but there is also something more, something very old and evil in these lands... The game features some of the coolest riddles to solve and the story develops step for step. We read many fascinating documents, get in touch with sinister characters and organisations (that really existed in the time) and try to find our way between a historical figure and the myth around it. The game is a very different and original approach to the Dracula-myth.
