[Problem] Mäusejagd im Grandhotel nativ in Windows 11

Probleme?. Naja. Auf den Blickwinkel kommt's an.
Das Spiel gibt's, unter anderem, auch auf'm FTP, ich hab's mit Archi geladen.
Es läuft wunderbar im Emulator, nichtsdestotrotz wollte ich das 16 Bit Spiel nativ auf meinem Windows 11 PC starten.

Hürden:
1. Installation. Geht ohne, sind nur 4 Dateien, die ins Spielverzeichnis kopiert werden.
    Der restliche Inhalt der CD kommt in ein anderes Verzeichnis.
2. Die Lingo.ini muss angepasst werden.
3. Farbeinstellung des Spiels auf 256 Farben setzen.
4. Das Spiel erkennt nur die kurzen 8.3 Dateinamen und keine deutschen Umlaute.
    Ändern der Codepage, bezüglich der Umlaute, nützt nichts.
5. Otvdm wird zum Start des 16 Bit Programms benötigt. Ebenso ein 16 Bit QT.
6. Vollbilddarstellung über ein Display Changer, weil die Kompatibilitätseinstellung von 640x480 bei der Mausjagd.exe keine Wirkung zeigt.

Nun habe ich dadurch ein kleines Problemchen. Ich habe einige Changer Programme ausprobiert, leider haben die alle einen Nebeneffekt.
Wenn ein Windows Explorer Fenster geöffnet ist, um die Batch Datei des Spiels zu starten, ist nach Beenden des Spiels das Windows Explorer Fenster auch auf 640x480 geschrumpft.

Kennt jemand einen Display Changer (per Kommandozeile!) der den Windows Explorer nicht verstellt und ich mir das Killen und den Neustart des Explorers sparen kann?
Oder gibt es andere Vorschläge?

In meiner Batchdatei erstelle ich die Lingo.ini neu, setze den 256 Farben Modus, beende alle Explorer, setze die Auflösung auf 640x480, starte das Spiel.
Nach Spielende wird die Auflösung wieder zurückgesetzt, der Explorer wird gestartet und der 256 Farben Eintrag in der Registry wird gelöscht.

Das Spiel produziert zwar Fehlermeldungen, aber es startet einwandfrei, 2 Mäuse habe ich gefangen und den Spielstand abgespeichert. Läuft bisher.
